Biography

I am a freelance science writer with work published in New Scientist magazine, BBC technology news online, BBC Focus magazine, and other specialist and mainstream publications.

I have a BSc in Genetics from the University of Edinburgh, an MSc in Medical Genetics from the University of Glasgow, and an MSc in Science Communication from Imperial College, London.

I previously worked for Nature Publishing Group, where I was the Associate Editor of a specialist medical journal.

I am a member of the Association of British Science Writers.
