Fiber Ring: ControlCircle owns and manages a 20G metro fibre ring that connects every datacentre in London. With an unmatched 99.999% Uptime SLA there is only one choice for connecting your office or your disaster recovery site to a main production system. With two separate physical rings provided by three of the best Tier 1 carriers, it offers a different level of resilience normally reserved for financial institutes or the MOD.
Intelligent BGP services is something ControlCircle have recently released, it sits on top of our existing BGP platform, it is a hardware device from Internap that continuously monitors and dynamically routes traffic depending on congestion, latency and priority. ControlCircle’s BGP systems are run on three very different technologies: the first is provided by Cisco and is hosted in one of the carrier-neutral datacentres run by Telecity RedBus, another runs on Foundry routers and is hosted in Telehouse, a third planned system will be based on Juniper routers and located in San Jose.
The triangle offers carrier, location and hardware resilience. We have seven Tier 1 carriers, Level 3 being the first, connected to our BGP service for resilience, coverage and performance.
Connectivity: As a true 24/7 Virtual Network Operator, ControlCircle are free to source connectivity services from a range of Global and regional network operators and satellite service providers. Dark Fibre, Ethernet Private Line, SDH Private, Line, Wavelength are among some options available.
Managed Services: This is where ControlCircle started seven years ago and is core to the business’ success. We are full-services company; there is no layer or device type we can’t support, from IDS, Global Server load balancing, content delivery platforms, application load balancers, storage NAS/SAN to Database 24/7 support.
Hosting: With 94 datacentres in its portfolio, all supplied by different carrier neutral suppliers, ControlCircle can offer one of the most flexible and vast space options on the market. From half a rack in a secure suite with CCTV, Biometrics located 120 feet underground in an MOD facility to 300 racks in a dedicated secure suite with three access systems, card swipe, biometrics and vein identification, located in Estonia.
