An experienced international chef and food writer. I have been writing a weekly recipe column in the Midlands Sunday Mercury for the last 5 years. I also write a well followed food blog that contains a very interesting mix of recipes, hard food news, advice on cooking, equipment and ingredients. Cookbook reviews and celebrity stories about people I have meet and or cooked for. I'm also an experienced cooking demonstrator having performed on both sides of the Atlantic, most recently for the BBC at The Good Food Show Birmingham on Nov 30th 2008, Royal Show 2007. Have done various press trips including Toronto, Canada to write about the growing food scene and Lyon France to report on the Bocuse D'or and Pastry World Cup. Adept at interviewing celebrity chefs because of my culinary background. When interviewing high profile chefs such as Brian Turner and Michelin star chef Phil Thompson my cooking background can create empathy and help put my subject at ease.
