Nicol J. Craig

Biography

I am a journalism student at Napier University, close to finishing my fourth year. Previously, I completed a bachelors degree at Edinburgh University. I’ve gained experience in the media but wish to enhance and develop my skills as a professional journalist. I can work in a variety of positions and enjoy learning new skills and accomplishing new challenges both alone and as part of a team. I am ambitious and hard-working and hope to improve and excel in all my endeavours.

In my spare time I enjoy pandering to my historical and journalistic thirst by reading as much as I can. More recreationally, I play the guitar, drums and like DJing. I’m also keen on sports and play football, rugby, tennis, snooker and juggling. In my youth I played table tennis at an international level and was part of the Scotland youth squad for six years. I finished my table tennis career no.1 under 18 in Scotland. In recent times I’ve been very interested in ‘the arts’, in many mediums. I particularly enjoy the Edinburgh Festival and keep an eye on the comedy circuits, as well as having an astute interest in music.
