Biography

I'm a freelance journalist and author, specialising in health, nutrition and food - especially food sensitivities and digestion - but also in issues concerning food ingredients and labelling, weight loss and obesity, antioxidants, omega oils, functional foods, food and diet trends, and future nutrition. I also write about pregnancy, childcare and parenting, men’s lifestyle, style, skincare and grooming. In the ten years I've been a writer, I've contributed to The Guardian, The Times, Healthy, Optimum Nutrition, You Are What You Eat, Health & Fitness, Women’s Fitness, Natural Health, Allergy and Junior, among several dozen titles in the UK, Ireland and abroad - including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and Malaysia. I'm the author of Living with Food Intolerance and Living with Food Allergy (both by Sheldon Press). I also occasionally copy edit, tutor journalism, critique and translate (Italian to English).
