I'm a freelance journalist and author, specialising in health, nutrition and food - especially food sensitivities and digestion - but also in issues concerning food ingredients and labelling, weight loss and obesity, antioxidants, omega oils, functional foods, food and diet trends, and future nutrition. I also write about pregnancy, childcare and parenting, men’s lifestyle, style, skincare and grooming. In my fifteen years as a writer, I've contributed to The Guardian, The Times, Reader's Digest, Healthy, Optimum Nutrition, You Are What You Eat, Health & Fitness, Natural Health, Allergy and Junior, among many other titles in the UK, Ireland and abroad - including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and Malaysia. I'm the author of Living with Food Intolerance and Coeliac Disease: What you need to know (both by Sheldon Press). I also copy edit, tutor journalism, critique, and translate (Italian to English).
