Biography
Historian and short story writer before turning to travel writing, with an M. Phil in History. On the historical side, specializes in World War Grave Sites in France, Italy, Turkey and Thailand. Travels extensively during the year, spending at least 3 months in the Far East. Teaches a travel writing course for Malaga Workshops in Spain each year and is a frequent guest speaker at writers' workshops. Contributes to many travel oriented books, i.e. D.K's Where to Go When, and Footprint's Best Holistic Spas in the World.
