Biography

I've been freelancing for five years, writing features for consumer sports and fitness magazines. A two-time Channel swimmer, I specialise in writing about open-water swimming and am perhaps the only freelance UK journalist who can write about open-water swimming from the swimmer's perspective.

Before their takeover, I wrote two regular columns for Telewest Blueyonder's contents pages. I have worked as a freelance for sports PR companies, writing and selling in features on behalf of their clients and writing copy for promotional and marketing collateral. I also write copy for my own clients: webcopy, sales letters, newsletters and brochures.
