Biography
Was a musician before going into journalism. (Composer, freelance orchestral player and organist.)
Main journalistic interests have developed from political activism(Labour Party) and a strong interest in how spirituality affects our social choices. (Am a Quaker.)
Recreations: reading, watching cricket and football (Sheffield Wednesday supporter so have to be an optimist), fell walking.
