A bit about Renate Ruge
Editor, Journalist & Photographer

Renate has worked in custom and consumer magazines for over 15 years in London, New York and Hong Kong. Now an Australian citizen, she has lived and worked in Sydney for the last ten of those years as a magazine editor for a variety of fashion, beauty, life style and travel magazines. Renate splits her time between Sydney and London.

Now freelance, she edits, writes, contributes and consults across a variety of titles, publishing companies and agencies, including acp magazines, Edge Custom Media, Mahlab Media, Citrus Media, News Ltd and News Digital. Trusted to do a good job, on brief and on time.

Photography
Also a professional photographer, Renate can shoot as well as write and as she photographs with the eye of a magazine editor, her images – especially travel photographs – are more and more in demand.

Renate's core talents lie in creating quality content as well as new looks and relaunches for major magazine titles.

She has many industry contacts and access to a great list of writers, photographers and other creative talent, who she brings together to suit particular projects.
